I'm not sure if I mean the woman at Walmart, or me.
I was at Walmart and in line to check out (with 2 people behind me) when this woman with a cart comes over from another lane saying 'this is taking too long' and pushes right in front of me. The checker said nothing, just started ringing up her items.
I lost it. I called the woman "a fucking bitch' to her face, and reamed out the checker too for not pointing out that she had cut in line and telling her to wait her turn.
THis brought the manager over who berated me for language, which in turn got the 2 people behind me to point out what had happened and that the checker had done nothing.
Which made the manager have the checker void the woman's items, and send her back to the end of the line.
I am of 3 minds about this:
Part of me thinks I should have just let it go, and not said anything
Part of me thinks I should have not called her a bitch (and then to be honest, in front of the manager, a 'rude ass fucking bitch", but still asked for the manager
Part of me thinks I was right.
Shrugs, tis over now
Moving on.
They are re-,making "Gypsy" for the big screen with Striesand. All to the good, as the Natalie Wood version stinks. But the screenwriter is Julien Fellowes of "Downton Abbey". That seems a odd mix.
And "Mandrake" who?
Warner Bros is making a film version (or developing one) of some comic called "Mandrake The Magician" Never heard of it.
