ARGO. A must see.
Oct. 13th, 2012 01:13 pmI just got back from seeing "Argo" and I wont spoil it for anyone, even if it is a true story and you can find the whole story online and in books).
I will just say, it is almost perfect.
It beautifully mixes absurdity with drama and tension (and this also was true to life by most accounts).
The one quibble, the thing that kept it from being perfect?
Ben Affleck. He is a talented director. He is not that talented as an actor. He is rather bland and like a male model in his role. AND, his character is hispanic.
Really, he couldnt have cast a Hispanic actor in the role?
