She can't sing, at all.   To borrow from Dorothy Parker..."she covers the whole range from a to b"   She can't write, honestly have you really listened to her lyrics.   She can't compose music; besides all of her song sounding alike, her chord changes are as skimpy as her arms.

The only reason she is popular is that she is the stand in for millions of teenage girls who can now say 'if she became a star, i can too."  And truthfully, 999,999 of them have to be more talented than Ms. Swift.
