I've been seeing previews for th BBC America's original series "Copper" and it looks good. It is set in the years immediatley following Lincoln's assisnation, and it is a procedural. No CSI tools however given the time period.
And handsome guys with sexy British, Irish and Scottish accents doesn't hurt either.
Other than that, I am bored with the olympics, so am reading the second in the "Peter And The StarCatcher" series.
And cooking:
Grilled Peaches
Grliied figs with honey
Eggplant with Buttermilk Dressing
Grilled Ceaser Salad (you cook the romaine leaves on the grill, or in my case as I am not going outside given my asthma attack this week, on a grill pan)
Chickpea, tomatoe and bread soup
Orange, polenta and yogurt cake
Butermilk ice cream (to go with the figs, peaches and cake)
