Blackberry Focaccia
Aug. 12th, 2012 12:49 pmI've been a little frustrated (to be honest, pissed) with some of fandom in the past 10 days or so. Not HP, Glee. And therefore have not felt in the mood to participate. Opinions I don't mind, even if they differ. Hypocrisy, yes I do mind.
Regardless, stepping back from it, I have stayed busy. I have gotten 3 new cookbooks, all on my kindle and been retreating into those and home things. For example, I FINALLY finished the afghan I've been working on since January.
This morning, for another example, as my Aunt gave me a basket of homegrown blackberries, I made blackberry focaccia for breakfast. This is from the "Ripe; A Cook In The Orchard" cookbook, by Nigel Slater. Now I am going to read the 3rd book in the "Peter and The Starcatcher" series, and then later create a joural for Quin Fabray for a RPG I participate in.
