OUAT: Aurora annoys me

I have (finally) caught up on OUAT, I watched 3 eps back to back tonight.

My thoughts:

Aurora is Mary Catherine pre-memory return all over again as in annoying and whiny
"The Doctor' made me hate Regina somewhat less
Not sure how I feel about Whale's alter ego and backstory.  It's not jumping the shark, but to me it feels like it is pushing it.
Hook... YUM
