"The Smitten Kitchen" cookbook was released this week and this morning I maed Cinnamon Toast French Toast out of it.  It's basically a breakfast casserole that you can prepare the night before than bake in the morning.

Um the guy and cousins devoured it.

Last night I made Sloppy Joes as my body (disregarding the 80 degree temps outside) has admitted it is fall, and thus the annual fall craving had to be satisfied (along with a chili dog for lunch, my one for the year)

Last night I also made Chocolate Chunk Bliondies (out of "Barefoot Contessa: Foolproof")

A side note: The Smitten Kitchen book has a whole section devoted to Vegetarian (not Vegan) main courses, which is a nice acknowledgement.

Today from "Smitten Kitchen" I am making

Roasted tomatoes and cipollini onions with white beans
Harvest Roast Chicken with grapes, olives and rosemary
Orange glazed carrots and parsnips (Barefoot Contessa Recipe)
Red wine chocolate cake

Tomorrow I am going to Aunt and Uncle's for dinner, so no need to cook.
