My GI Dr called Weds, or more specifically his assistant did, and told me I could start the new drug as the bloodwork came back negative.  In this case negative is a good thing as it means I'm not one of the rare few who metabolize it straight into their liver.

But...

I am on Prednisone have been for 10 weeks, and you can't go cold turkey off of that.  The plan was that I would taper off of that and see how new drug contolled issue. If during taper, I had symptoms again, my Doctor would up the dosage of the new prescription till the new drug would control the issue, and I could get off the prednisone.

I asked the MA about that and she said "oh he didn't tell me about that, I will ask him and call you back, in the meantime go ahead and start the new RX and keep on the predinsone and I'll find out at what rate the Dr wants you to taper off the Prednisone"

That was Weds at 6 p.m.

No call back on Thursday.

I called yesterday morning and the office was closed for the weekend (a 4 day weekend).  Sigh.

Still, I can tell a difference already with the new prescription, a positive difference.  So I will call them Tues and nag till I get at what rate he wants me to taper and go from there.

Wes Anderson has disappointed many with his past few films.  Unless you were a rabid stan, most people found them twee and uninvolving.  That is not the case with "Moonrise Kingdom"

I won't give too much away, and none of this could be considered spoilers, but the basic plot is that on the island of New Penzance (yes, the name of the island was deliberate), 2 tweens run away together.  The boy is an orphan who is shunned by his scout troop and about to be given up by his foster parents.  The girl is a product of a home with two estranged parents who do not communicate with her at all.

They run away on the verge of a big storm, creating their own world in a tent. (And the symbolic 'de-flowering' scene is hilarious, intentionally).

This leads the grown-ups to try and find them.

The cast is superb.  Bill Murray is back in form as an actor, not a personality.  Bruce Willis for the first time in ages (since "The Sixth Sense'?) truly acts, instead of just relying on his eyebrows and smirk.  The rest of the cast includes Frances McNormand and Tilda Swinton.

Just go see it, instead of MIB3.   Support a movie for grown-ups and that shows real human beings and their behaviour.
